Aditi Ramchiary is a researcher from Assam with a keen interest in human-wildlife interactions and urban ecology. She holds a postgraduate degree in Environment and Development from Ambedkar University Delhi. She works on a project in Dehradun studying urban ecosystem dynamics, focusing on urban birds and the predation pressure of domestic cats. She also organized bird walks for students across the city as part of the project.
Previously, Aditi worked as a conservation geographer, specializing in spatial analysis and cartography, using data-driven maps and visualizations to support conservation efforts. She has contributed to research on human-elephant conflict in the Kaziranga-Karbi Anglong Landscape, Assam, and has assisted in a similar study in Tripura through conflict mapping.
Her broader interests lie at the intersection of ecology, spatial analysis, and conservation planning, with a focus on applying research to conservation strategies.
