Senior Research Fellow
Suman Jumani is a PhD Candidate in the Soil and Water Sciences Department, University of Florida, USA. She has completed her master’s degree in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), Wildlife Conservation Society – India Programme. Her research interests lie in applied freshwater ecology, hydrology and conservation science. Her ongoing projects aim to assess the socioecological consequences of river infrastructure projects in the Western Ghats, and develop tools to aid in basin-wide conservation and development planning.
